Playgroups
Playgroups are not just for your kids, they are for you too!
Mothers & More playgroups are a great way to get acquainted with other Members and their children. They provide an opportunity for you to spend time with other Moms in a smaller group setting so you can get to know each other on a more personal level. Getting to chat with some other "grown-ups" while your child(ren) are playing with their new friends is a double bonus!
Playgroups meet three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. All members are allowed to attend one or all of the playgroups offered each week. Types of locations can vary within a group. Usually playgroups meet in a Member's home, at a park, or other child-friendly location.
The Playgroup Director provides the overall structure for the playgroup program and handles any issues that may arise. A Playgroup Host provides the play place and the snacks, if the group decides to serve them. As a Member of a playgroup, if at any time you feel uncomfortable with a situation, you are encouraged to speak to the person involved at the time or the Playgroup Director as soon as possible. The best way to avoid a misunderstanding is to communicate openly with others.
