Advocacy
Mothers and More offers the opportunity to support and promote awareness of issues related to motherhood and family through involvement with upcoming legislation, charitable organizations, community businesses, law enforcement, and other related agencies. We strive to empower mothers by providing the education, knowledge and tools they need to be successful as mothers whether they stay at home, work for pay, or do both. Throughout the year, speakers are scheduled for meetings to discuss advocacy related topics.
Outreach
Outreach Events and activities are scheduled throughout the year that provides opportunities to volunteer and support individuals who are in need within our community. Some of the most popular events have been collecting school supplies for a children's shelter, making blankets, and helping teenage mothers. There is also an outreach resource list on the yahoo groups database for members who are in need, for those who know someone in need, or just want to help out. This is a great way for Mothers and More to make a difference in society.
